Fishing guide
Kevin Sepp
I have been fishing my entire life.
My first fishing memory is of catching pike with my brother by our home lake. Back then, we were still using Nevskaya reels. Over the years, everything has developed and the lake of my childhood in Southern Estonia has been replaced by the sea, where most of my fishing now takes place. I also go on fishing trips to Finland, Norway and the Maldives.
Throughout the year, we target all predatory fish species found in Estonia. In spring and autumn, we mainly fish for sea trout. During summer, we fish for sea trout in rivers. At sea, we mainly catch pike, ide and perch.
My main sea trout fishing spots are within a 100 km radius of Tallinn. However, fishing days also take me to different islands such as Saaremaa and Hiiumaa. On exploration trips, I often discover new fishing spots and meet other anglers. I spend more than 200 days a year fishing.
This allows me to always stay up to date with the best fishing locations and techniques for each season.
Besides fishing, I also enjoy filming my trips and writing articles about them. I write for Fishing Estonia’s social media channels as well as for the magazine “Kalastaja”.
